Business Assistance.
Several programs help Nevada companies expand their market opportunities and economic success.
Small Business Development Centers located throughout Nevada provide new and existing businesses with assistance in planning and developing their growth potential, as well as building and maintaining professional management skills.

Manufacturing Assistance Partnership [MAP] is an industrial outreach program affiliated with the University and Community College System of Nevada. MAP assists small and medium-sized manufacturers, construction companies and the mining industry in the introduction of new technology and workforce development.
Procurement Outreach Program provides information, training and assistance to businesses in understanding federal, state and local procurement initiatives and opportunities. This NCED-based program also assists businesses in complying with federal regulations.

Global Trade Program is designed to assist Nevada businesses gain access to foreign markets. The NCED-based international program conducts export seminars and trade missions, provides counseling services and hosts foreign delegations.
Rural Community Development Program activities include creating and funding the Community Business Resource Center, a "one stop shop" for non-traditional loan programs for rural businesses. The NCED-based program also provides financial and technical assistance through the state's Community Development Block Grant Program.
