Governor Brian Sandoval and the Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) are committed to promoting a robust, diversified and prosperous economy in Nevada, stimulating business expansion and retention, encouraging entrepreneurial enterprise, attracting new business and facilitating community development.

GOED supplies resources to achieve these goals through its two primary divisions, two primary divisions—the Nevada Film Office and Economic Development—and the many resource programs described in this section that can help businesses and Nevada’s economy to grow.
